Tuition Vision

Tuition is the primary revenue for a private school, and directly affects the quality of leaders and teachers a school is able to hire. In the classical tradition, teachers are called to be the living curriculum, embodying the knowledge, wisdom, and faith into which we desire our students to grow. Therefore, we desire to provide competitive compensation for our most valuable resource: qualified teachers and staff who faithfully serve our students and their families. Offering competitive salaries and benefits will also position us to retain and recruit a high caliber team of faculty and staff.

Our Tuition

  • Grammar School (TK-5th): $14,500

  • Upper School (6th-12th): $19,750

Tuition Assistance

We are a school that highly values the role of parents and family. Therefore, we desire a strong partnership with parents in their child’s education; we do not seek to undermine or replace them. This means we strive for mission-fit families who embrace the Christian faith, our educational philosophy, mission, and vision. For every family who fits, we desire to make Saint Sophia Academy accessible.

The education and formation of your child will be a financial sacrifice, but we firmly believe the future dividends will surpass the cost. Yet, we understand that this cost might be a burden for some, which is why we are committed to a robust Tuition Assistance Program. We are committed to dedicating 20% of our budget to distribute as Tuition Assistance, with the potential to increase this percentage via administration-led fundraising.

Tuition Assistance is not merit-based, but needs-based. Every family will have the opportunity to apply for Tuition Assistance through a third party vendor. Once the family submits their application, with the necessary financial information and documents, demonstrating clear financial need, the Tuition Assistance Committee will decide on the amount of assistance to be awarded. Many factors are considered when making this decision–number of children, life stage, other dependents, cost of living, assets, liabilities, etc.

Bottom Line

Do not let cost stop you from applying! We desire all families who resonate with our mission and vision to apply for admission with the confidence that a robust tuition assistance program exists to aid them financially.
